Getting Caught Up

I haven't posted anything on here for over a year. Since then I have made a ton of stuff. So in order to get caught up I'm going to post it by season. I'm going to start with Valentine's and St. Patrick's Day. I made a porch hanger and have one of those for all seasons, so those will be mixed in with the other crafts.

It has been so crazy and I wish I had more time to craft. Here are a couple of things I did for Valentine's Day. I wish I was creative enough to come up with this but they are all from blogs. I missed a picture of one of the decorations so I will put that one later.

So I have done a few crafts but haven't had time to take pictures of everything. One of these days I will get caught up but for right now I will post pictures of what I have. These are some treats that I made for the kids' Halloween parties at school. I got the hats and brooms off of ourbestbites.com.

So Many Crafts So Little Time!

I've been so many crafts lately. It's been so much fun! I'm sure I forgot some.

Gavin just had his 1st birthday and I found this dinosaur cake in a magazine. It was so easy and a lot of fun. I did a smaller one for him and a bigger one for everyone else. The only problem was that I did it before going to Eagar so they both melted on the way and the tail slid off on the big one. But it all worked out.


Here are some of the Halloween/Fall crafts that I just did. The eyeball topiary isn't quite done. I need to add some ribbon around the lid and would like to put something vinyl on the jar. We'll see. The dracula was one I did a long time ago but it's my favorite Halloween decoration.






I am in charge of a craft for Enrichment Night and so this is what we're doing.


And finally, here are just some misc. ones.

Wow it looks like I haven't done anything in a really long time. Actually, I was reading quite a bit there for a while. Here is the outfit I made Paige for the 4th of July. Also, the clips and bracelet to match. I was able to make a cute 4th of July craft that one of my friends was nice enough to get together for me. Then I made pencils out of Rolos and Hershey Kisses for my kids' teachers. I got the idea out of the Creating Keepsakes magazine. I thought they were so cute and the teachers really liked them. Then I added Paige's birthday cake. It took a very long time to decorate, but it was a lot of fun. I was surprised it turned out as good as it did. I am not a cake decorator at all!

Bows, Mr. Potato Head, and Teacher Appreciation Gift

Thanks to the internet and Britney, I have been into making bows and flowers for Paige. They are so much fun and so easy! And soooo addicting!








This year for Blake's teacher I wanted to do something I haven't done before. I found the cute bucket on the internet. You just get candy wrappers and modge podge them on. Then I decorated pencils and made a little post it note thing. Then I gave her some dum dums and put "Thanks to you I'm no dum dum". I think she liked it. I hope anyway. But so fun!







A while ago, Kendyl, Jana and I started making these cute felt Mr. Potato Heads. I finally got it done. I am actually impressed with how it turned out. I hope my kids like it.
